Start living the life you’ve imagined

Therapy for teens and adults on the Connecticut Shoreline

Welcome to DW Behavioral Health

Hello! My name is Debra Wolkenfeld, and I’m a licensed clinical psychologist focused on working with teens and adults. My office is located in Madison, Connecticut, easily accessible to Guilford, Old Saybrook, Branford, greater New Haven, and the entire CT shoreline.

Therapy provides a safe, private, judgment-free space to explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, past trauma, stressors, and much more. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of yourself and those around you, and learn skills that will empower you to handle whatever life throws your way.

Most importantly, therapy can help you feel better and start living the life you’ve imagined.

About Me

Welcome! I’m Debra Wolkenfeld, licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of DW Behavioral Health. I help teens and adults overcome mental and behavioral health challenges so that they can live the lives they’ve imagined.

I see each patient as a unique, whole person, not just a list of symptoms. I believe therapy should be a safe space where all thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. And I believe that with the right support, everyone can heal and thrive.

My office is conveniently located in Madison, Connecticut, and I currently offer both telehealth and in-person appointments. I work with patients from across the Connecticut shoreline (and via telehealth, I can currently serve patients from anywhere in CT or NY). I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and I am licensed in Connecticut and New York.
